TGIF

May 10, 2013 by Meghan 25 Comments

Hey Gang. I don’t have much to say today (shocking, I know) so go forth and play, preferably outside. Bonus points if you do it in the dirt and fresh veggies are involved.

Go Play Outside

Before I officially release you, don’t forget to participate in the Week In Review link up party going down on Monday, by writing a post dedicated to ALL the things you managed to do in the last seven days. There’s no accomplishment too big or too small; so let’s get listing them one and all. For more info on the Week In Review, click here.

List ALL The Things

Last, but most certainly not least, I’m hosting a giveaway for some homemade vegan granola. I made a double batch two nights ago, and let me just say, you want in on this action because I am a granola master. I also have no issues with my self-esteem.

Glorious Granola

Happy Weekending. Yes, I made weekend a verb because I can and my cocky ego rears her head yet again; I’d say it’s going to be a good day.

Do you have any exciting weekend plans? Have you participated in the Week In Review link up party yet (if not, you should totally get on that)?

I’m hoping to go to the park today… So I think that will count for the outside and play, right? 🙂 Hopefully it doesn’t rain though. The ground is still wet from yesterday 🙁

I already shared most of what I’ve been doing on my post today, so I might have to use that for my Week in Review this time! Maybe I’ll do something earth-shattering this weekend though!

Hope you have a great day Meghan!

I hope you did make it to the park. It was a pretty wet weekend though.
Madison, you can feel free to link up whatever post you want; you’re such a regular I think a little rule bending is in order. Unless of course you did do something super exciting this weekend, in which case I can’t wait to read about it.

So I ended up finding enough to post about! 🙂

And we didn’t make it to the park–like you said, it was pretty wet 🙁

I’m going to have my whole family together for 2 nights this weekend, walk another 5K with my spouse, celebrate my son’s birthday a few weeks early, say goodbye to my spouse, and chill with the kids.
It will fly by. But I’m not going outside to play today–there is nourishing fluid bathing the plants and I don’t wish to intrude.

Far be it from us to intrude on fluid baths especially those which come in the form of torrential rains. What a weird weather weekend. I hope you spouse got off ok.

I’M going out in the sun…via your demand! Tonight I am volunteering at a food bank for the first time and I am soooo excited! Other than that my weekend plans are kitty snuggles and face stuffing.

Kitty snuggles and face stuffing are the things weekends are made of, or at least the legendary ones. I hope you liked working at the Food Bank. I’ve volunteered at the one in Cleveland before, and it’s always a great experience, although not what I originally expected.

Well, I made it to Friday so that’s saying something…and I got that massage and it was a thing of BEAUTY!! Now if I could just convince myself (and my wallet) to do that on a weekly basis, all would be right in the world! As for the rest of this weekend? I am plan-less and that my friend is a wonderful thing!

It’s raining here, so I don’t think there will be any “doing it” in the dirt, but I’m sure I manage the other half of that at some point! 😉

    See you Monday, love!

I’m so glad you got the massage and then spent the weekend completely unplugged. Some days you just need to walk away, take a break, and treat yourself. Good for you, and I hope your tummy has officially recovered.
