Week in Review: The One With Laura and Lucie (#47)

September 5, 2016 by Meghan 40 Comments

Get your pads and pens ready because it’s time for the Week In Review.

The Week In Review is a list, in its purest form, not of the things you still need to do, but of all the things you have done in the last seven days. It’s an achievement list, an ode to yourself, a celebration of sorts, and a virtual pat on the back or smack on the ass. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Need more details? Head here.

Week In Review Button Final

♫ You can do it, put your list into it. ♫

Let’s get listing:

I would love to share loads of witty words and fantastical phrases, but I’ve got nothing left on the mental capacity front. I just wrapped up two weeks of entertaining some of my favorite people, and I still have one lovely house guest here until Wednesday. I’d rather languish in the last few days of summer and have more Sex and the City marathons while a cooling breeze wafts in through the side door than be strapped to the computer, typing up a Week in Review post. Us introverts need to recharge.

So without further ado, I’m going to share a photo montage of the last week and leave it at that.

How much do I love these photos. So much I can’t even type it. What gorgeous pics and scenes of merriment! Ave is that sparkle that makes everything and everyone radiate.
We’ve had a great and sleep less week this I’m lackibg in blog postings or drive to sit at my office space. I’ve always has to work at my desk, not really been the type to just take my laptop and go wherever. I like my space and my keyboard. Im still hanging on to this but baby’s gonna win eventually and I’ll have to cave in as I do. Till then im solving life’s mysteries from my rocking chair and mobile phone. Blogging has been replaced by deep thoughts during breastfeeding. Like jack handy. But Jane Booby. That’s me.
    Love you gorgeous mama

We should start a Jane Booby club.

I hope you’re getting more sleep this week. If not, remember it’s temporary and it’ll pass soon. Also remind me to tell you the story about the day Ave stayed awake for about 9 hours. I think I have PTSD from it. 🙂

I did in fact sneak in a nap yesterday after I deposited Lucie at the airport. It was a good thing too since Ave woke up in the middle of the night last night. She hasn’t done that in months. I know, I’m lucky. 🙂

    Meghan,
It looks like you’ve been having a wonderful time. I’m glad you’re showing off Cleveland!
I’ve accomplished some working, some canning, some biking and paddling this week.
And launching my firstborn into his college years.

Sigh. I’ll be needing a snuggle with Ave now.

Also, another package arrived for her today so I’ll be sending it your way. Ha! I promise to include granola. 🙂
