Get your pads and pens ready because it’s time for the Week In Review.
The Week In Review is a list, in its purest form, not of the things you still need to do, but of all the things you have done in the last seven days. It’s an achievement list, an ode to yourself, a celebration of sorts, and a virtual pat on the back or smack on the ass. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

♫ You can do it, put your list into it. ♫
Let’s get listing:
I started the week off in Buffalo with more family fun and lots of fantastic food.
We had brunch with my older brother, and Ave got to engage in some selfie shenanigans. We followed that up with a pizza dinner with my younger brother and niece. No one left hungry.
On Tuesday, Ave, my mother and I drove back to Cleveland, roughly a three hour road trip. Ave took a short cat nap and then watched a lot of Elmo. By the time we got back home, the baby was spent and we almost cancelled trick or treating; almost. We hit up four houses and my mini-minion managed to cry at each one. She makes the cutest little sheep though.
The Hubby and I had a lunch date on Wednesday and picked out new tile for our guest bathroom. I’m hopeful one day we’ll no longer have a giant hole in the wall and exposed plumbing.
One morning, we hit up the local coffee shop/play area with friends. Another day, we went to story time at the library, our last class until 2018. Thankfully, we’re starting a music session this week.
Ave spent some quality time with my mother while I caught up on blog reading, my e-mail, finances and responded to blog comments.
For kicks, I read a book (The Hate U Bring by Angie Thomas (it was powerful and appropriate given our current climate)), I watched a handful of movies (The Dressmaker and The Insider (I was a fan of both)) and I started a puzzle. Oh and I ordered more take out because food. Self care for the win.
We hit up the in-laws house to celebrate grandma’s birthday. It was a success, ignoring the fact we forgot the vast majority of her presents. Oops. I’d blame Ave, but she was the one who managed to carry the one gift we did bring.
I spent the better part of Saturday catching up on sleep while the Hubby managed the tiny dictator. He’s my hero.
On Sunday, I swam just a little over a half mile. It was my first dip in the pool since the middle of September, and it felt like it.
I saved the best for last. The most exciting thing last week was poop. Yes, poop. At just shy of 19 months, this is kind of a miracle. Go Ave, go.
Now it’s your turn. I’d love to hear from you. Link up and get yo’ list on.
What are three things you accomplished in the last week? Big or small. Did you remember potty training your little ones? Are you team pizza or chicken wings?

Yeeeeeahhhhh Ave!! A whole new world has now opened up to you! You go girl.
What a freaking good week, ya?? So much family and good food. Some great play dates. Visits from Mom (’cause what’s better than those) and even time to catch up on your own self care. Win win all around I say!!

OK the green and white pizza, whatever it is (in my mind it’s spinach and lots of cheese LOL) looks amazing! Oh and poop is a big step!

She indeed makes a cute sheep. But don’t tell her I said that; it might get to her head
Coincidentally, I just started Angie Thomas’ book too. Unfortunately too relevant for the world we live in.
And WOOP FOR THE POOP! Happy Monday Meghan!

Go Ave!!! 😀
This sounds like a really nice week! Swimming, sleeping while your hubby watches the baby and coffee shop time! Also a mid-week date especially when it includes that burger! I’d murder for some fries right now.
I love the color of the tiles. They started to air US home improvement shows on German TV and I am so obsessed. You rarely see tiles like these here. In Germany they are huge usually!
Also 100% team pizza 🙂

I am a little annoyed that you made me wait till the end of the post to get to the poop! That is the whole reason I clicked on this post. LOL Have a great week!

I am reallllly looking forward to potty training and mine is only 7.5 months. Because we started baby led weaning about three weeks ago, and after 6+ months of just slightly unpleasant breastmilk BMs, we’re starting to see some…chunk in there. And it isn’t pretty!

Love that cute little baby smirk!!

Woohoo, go Little Miss Ave! I love how you refer to her as the tiny dictator haha I didn’t realize that the drive from Buffalo to Cleveland is 3 hours – closer than I would have guessed!

Hooray for poop in a potty! Defintely deserves a double fist pump!
And I bet it was lovely to have your mum with you for a while – for you, Ave and being able to have some hubby time.
Hope you manage to fit in some more pool time – I bet afterwards it felt so good!

You do have a cute little sheep.
I’m definitely team pizza > wings. You can put pretty much anything on a pizza, but chicken wings are always chicken.

I have to make a mental note not to read these posts before lunch. I always end up hungry. Yay for family time AND me-time for mommy.

Pooping on the potty is AWESOME! Congratulations to you and Ave!!

i this will shocking you… but all I took aways from this was Ave pooped on the toilet. Is she like a potty training savant?! Isn’t she super young for that? I’m impressed. And a little jealous – I don’t poop well while traveling.
