Week in Review: Taking a Pass (#57)

November 14, 2016 by Meghan 27 Comments

Get your pads and pens ready because it’s time for the Week In Review.

The Week In Review is a list, in its purest form, not of the things you still need to do, but of all the things you have done in the last seven days. It’s an achievement list, an ode to yourself, a celebration of sorts, and a virtual pat on the back or smack on the ass. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Need more details? Head here.

Week In Review Button Final

♫ You can do it, put your list into it. ♫

I need to take a pass today since I spent the vast majority of last week either licking my election wounds or hanging with my family in Buffalo, which means I barely turned my computer on.

ave-and-meg-voting-november-2016

I got back home yesterday afternoon and the sheer quantity of emails and posts in my BlogLovin’ feed was giving me minor spasms, so I opted to power off my PC and hang with this fella instead. You understand.

That being said, I still want YOU to go list crazy, so lay it on me.

It’s your turn. I want to hear from you. Link up and get yo’ list on.

What are three things you accomplished in the last week, big or small?

A break from the Internet and spending time with family and cat – well, they’re family, too, no? – is the best choice we can make sometimes. It sounds like your week was filled with relaxation and love – two things many others might have missed from theirs so go you! My offer still stands either way …

I soaked it up as much as one possibly can while taking care of a tiny human. Those babies are game changers. 🙂

I loved seeing you in the link up. I hope you’ll come back again.

My bloglovin feed is exactly the same. My life changed a lot last week and it was my birthday, so I spent it with time with others and organized myself to get all the new shit done. No shame, those blogs will still be there.

Sometimes that’s the healthiest you can do. When it overwhelms you, turn away from it. That’s why the ‘mark all as read’ button is your best friend.
I hope you had a good time in Buffalo despite the wounds you needed to nurse.

It was great seeing my family and well worth the trip despite Ave developing stranger anxiety. It just means I have to go there more with her so she can get used to everyone.

Girl, I know what you mean by getting back from being away from technology and having all the things to catch up with; I usually can’t jump right back into it later. I’m so thankful for the blessing of those times of disconnecting; they are always essential. <3 THanks for hosting Meg!
