Hey Gang. I don’t have much to say today (shocking, I know) so go forth and play, preferably outside. Bonus points if you do it in the dirt and fresh veggies are involved.
Before I officially release you, don’t forget to participate in the Week In Review link up party going down on Monday, by writing a post dedicated to ALL the things you managed to do in the last seven days. There’s no accomplishment too big or too small; so let’s get listing them one and all. For more info on the Week In Review, click here.
Last, but most certainly not least, I’m hosting a giveaway for some homemade vegan granola. I made a double batch two nights ago, and let me just say, you want in on this action because I am a granola master. I also have no issues with my self-esteem.
Happy Weekending. Yes, I made weekend a verb because I can and my cocky ego rears her head yet again; I’d say it’s going to be a good day.
Do you have any exciting weekend plans? Have you participated in the Week In Review link up party yet (if not, you should totally get on that)?
Eating 4 Balance says
I’m hoping to go to the park today… So I think that will count for the outside and play, right? 🙂 Hopefully it doesn’t rain though. The ground is still wet from yesterday 🙁
I already shared most of what I’ve been doing on my post today, so I might have to use that for my Week in Review this time! Maybe I’ll do something earth-shattering this weekend though!
Hope you have a great day Meghan!
Meghan says
I hope you did make it to the park. It was a pretty wet weekend though.
Madison, you can feel free to link up whatever post you want; you’re such a regular I think a little rule bending is in order. Unless of course you did do something super exciting this weekend, in which case I can’t wait to read about it.
Eating 4 Balance says
So I ended up finding enough to post about! 🙂
And we didn’t make it to the park–like you said, it was pretty wet 🙁
Jessie says
Happy weekend beautiful! Enjoy the sunshine.. if there is any where youre at 🙂
Meghan says
It was on and off all weekend and we even got caught in a hail storm. Yuck. I hope you and Joshua had a lovely weekend too. 🙂

I’m so, so, so glad it’s Friday…been kind of a stressful week! This weekend, we’re going to see my parents’ and have a nice mother’s day celebration. Should be fun! Have an awesome weekend!
Meghan says
I agree whole heartedly; I couldn’t wait for Friday to roll around. I hope you had a great mother’s day celebration at your parents.
Hannah @ CleanEatingVeggieGirl says
Have a fabulous weekend!! 🙂
Meghan says
Thanks; you too!.
Jess @ JessieBear What Will You Wear says
Happy weekend Meghan!!! Still drooling all over that granola…
Meghan says
You too Jessie. I hope you get to decompress from midterms.
Laura @ Sprint 2 the Table says
Haha – this is basically what I posted Thursday. Enjoy the day off! Mine was glorious.
Meghan says
I know I thought that was funny. Sometimes you just need a break right?!

I’m going to have my whole family together for 2 nights this weekend, walk another 5K with my spouse, celebrate my son’s birthday a few weeks early, say goodbye to my spouse, and chill with the kids.
It will fly by. But I’m not going outside to play today–there is nourishing fluid bathing the plants and I don’t wish to intrude.
Meghan says
Far be it from us to intrude on fluid baths especially those which come in the form of torrential rains. What a weird weather weekend. I hope you spouse got off ok.
Allie says
I love your self-esteem. And your week in review link up. And granola.
Meghan says
Thanks Allie. Pretty soon my head is going to be so swollen it won’t fit out the door. Ha, ha.

I’M going out in the sun…via your demand! Tonight I am volunteering at a food bank for the first time and I am soooo excited! Other than that my weekend plans are kitty snuggles and face stuffing.
Meghan says
Kitty snuggles and face stuffing are the things weekends are made of, or at least the legendary ones. I hope you liked working at the Food Bank. I’ve volunteered at the one in Cleveland before, and it’s always a great experience, although not what I originally expected.
Heather @ Kiss My Broccoli says
Well, I made it to Friday so that’s saying something…and I got that massage and it was a thing of BEAUTY!! Now if I could just convince myself (and my wallet) to do that on a weekly basis, all would be right in the world! As for the rest of this weekend? I am plan-less and that my friend is a wonderful thing!
It’s raining here, so I don’t think there will be any “doing it” in the dirt, but I’m sure I manage the other half of that at some point! 😉
See you Monday, love!
Meghan says
I’m so glad you got the massage and then spent the weekend completely unplugged. Some days you just need to walk away, take a break, and treat yourself. Good for you, and I hope your tummy has officially recovered.
Sarah Pie says
Enjoy the weekend! It’s too gross to go outside here, but hopefully I’ll be able to get my link up up soon (too many up’s?). That granola looks killer!
Meghan says
I’m all up with you. 😉
I’m a huge fan of granola. Yum.
Fran@BCDC says
I’m about to put the finishing touches on my WIR right now!! Have a great Sunday, Meghan!!
Meghan says
Yeah! Thanks for participating Fran! It is much appreciated.
