Week in Review: The Short and Sweet Edition (#70)

February 13, 2017 by Meghan 26 Comments

Get your pads and pens ready because it’s time for the Week In Review.

The Week In Review is a list, in its purest form, not of the things you still need to do, but of all the things you have done in the last seven days. It’s an achievement list, an ode to yourself, a celebration of sorts, and a virtual pat on the back or smack on the ass. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Need more details? Head here.

♫ You can do it, put your list into it. ♫

Let’s get listing:

I would love to rave all about last week and share the nitty-gritty details, except I spent the better part of Sunday afternoon driving back to Cleveland from Buffalo, so yeah, this is gonna be a short post. Translation, I’m just gonna dump a bunch of pictures on you and run. You understand. Blows kiss.

And on that note, it’s your turn. I’d love to hear from you. Link up and get yo’ list on.

Well, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you but just in case: Soon enough Ave’s cute smile will win over all the boys. Better keep an eye on her ;).
I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing time in Buffalo – minus the long drive.

I know. I told the Hubby her pouty lower lip was going to cause us problems. 🙂

The trip was lovely. We go back in month too.

I hope Ave’s smiles mean that it was a happy car ride for all!

I finally did the damn thing and started my own real, legit travel blog! Setting it up is kind of taking over my life at the moment but it’s very exciting.

Props to you for road tripping! It’s always exhausting yet worth it (or at least that’s what I say when it’s over). Oh and I want to take that little fox critter home with me.

Okay I thought I was good with animals but what is that animal in the first pic?
And I hope Ave’s shirt in the last picture means cookie monster still exists? I thought maybe they had gotten rid of him and made him eat kale or something. Hope you had a great time!

It’s an Arctic White Fox. I thought it was the cutest thing possible. It reminded me of how my kitties sleep.

I love the zoo! Driving in a car with a baby is suuuuper stressful. For me, anyway. I hope it was okay for you guys. It looks like you had such a good time on your trip though. I love all the pictures!

We try to drive at night, right around Ave’s bedtime so she sleeps the whole way. If not, then yep it can be and is super stressful. 🙂

The trip was fantastic and we went on Ave’s first visit to the Zoo.

Last week, I really enjoy your bacon blackberry brussels sprout recipe. I cooked for my family and they loved it, despite the fact that they are not big fans of brussels. Anyway, the baby is so bright and lovely!

I’m so glad to hear your family enjoyed the Brussels Sprouts even though they are not big fans of my favorite mini cabbages. The bacon always helps.

She really does turn on the charm when you take her picture. I think it’s because she loves my phone so when I take it out, she gives me a great big smile.
