Happy New Year

January 2, 2014 by Meghan 23 Comments

Hey Peeps!

I wanted to drop in real quick to wish you all a very Happy New Year!!

There’s no truth to the rumor I can’t stand to see my feverish and slightly lame Holiday in Review Edition on the blog for one second longer. This is really all about you. I swear. Sort of.

New Year's Eve Meg Skull Caps and Faux Fur

This is the last photographic evidence I submitted to the world on New Year’s Eve before I had too much champagne and lost my iPhone. Oh yes, I am that girl. It’s a sad day indeed and now family you know why I haven’t returned any of your calls. I’m assuming you did call. If not, you’ve got some explaining to do.

In addition to wishing you a Happy New Year, I’m dropping in to talk about the Week In Review. It’s no secret this link up is suffering, so I’m going to mix it up again come Monday. Instead of our traditional ‘look at all the stuff I accomplished in the past week, yeah me, I rock,’ I’m going for a different angle.

Resolutuions In Reviw Button2

I’m thinking a New Year’s Resolution Edition is in order because far be it from me to turn down the opportunity to make another list. Please feel free (read ‘Just Do It’ Nike style) to pen a post about your New Year’s Resolutions, your past year’s accomplishments or just what you knocked out in the last week if you feel like sticking with tradition. Either way, I want you to link up and get your list on. Pretty please with an organic and locally sourced cherry on top.

Here’s to hopefully seeing you next week. Cheers (just not with champagne!).

oh noooooo!!! I can’t even tell you the number of phones I’ve lost! Fortunately my iphone made it through the night but it has some seriously horrific photographic evidence on it that was promptly deleted. Happy New Year lady!

You need to save that horrible photographic evidence for later years. You’ll look back on it and laugh then.
Happy New Year to you too!

It’s always the phones that suffer… I had to replace my phone around this time last year because I dropped it one too many times and ended up shattering the front screen completely. Now I kind of, sort of want to drop it again on purpose so that I’ll have an excuse to get a pretty new 5. I’m still rockin’ the 4, and that’s so 2012 😉

    Happy New Year, lady!!

Eek, shattered screens is bad. I’m with you, I’m now officially rocking the iPhone 4, which is the Hubby’s old phone and there’s a huge difference in speed and photo quality. I’m going to hold out until May though. Supposedly there’s a new iPhone coming then and my company will also pay for a new phone come April. I figured it was worth making due for a few months.

Happy New Year to you too!

Ack!! I used to threaten my “wife” that I’d dummy string her phone and wallet to her because she lost them so often. Special thanks to a bottle (or 8) of champagne. It sounds like you had a wonderful evening though and I hope it was worth it!!

PS. New Years Goal: Be a better blog friend.

I should have dummy stringed it to myself. Seriously it was the only thing I brought out with me, and I couldn’t manage to hang onto it. Grrr.

Happy New Year lady. You are already a fabulous blog friend, although it is nice to see you in my comments again.

Oh noes! I hope you can find your phone!! There is find your iphone app, but usually that’s only thought of when you lose your phone…but for next time that might help! 🙂

    Happy New Year!!

You can bet I have the Find you iPhone App on my new phone. Technically, it’s the Hubby’s old phone, but you gotta make do when and where you can.

Uh-oh… I too drank an excessive amount of the sparkly, but since my phone is surgically attached we made it out in one piece.

Dammit, I should have thought about having it surgically attached. That would have worked.

ha ha. I’ve lost my phone several times and hours blame it on the champagne. Yet I alleys tend to celebrate with champagne. Ironic don’t you think? Glad you had a good one. But always be here. Gotta love your humor
